1. OVAIS U. GHAFOOR
Mr. Ovais U. Ghafoor is Qualified Loss Adjusters & Professional Engineer and holds all four Certificates issued by Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan to act as Surveyor i.e. Marine, Motor, Fire and Machinery Erection & Breakdown. He has been working in this field for almost 14 years and has handled highly technical multimillion worth losses & some of the most renowned losses  worth over 15 Million US dollars  and many valuation assignments involving billions of rupees. He has also dealt with various pre-insurance inspection assignments in Cement, Power Generation, Textile and many other sectors.

As far as the loss adjusting is concerned, Mr. Ovais U. Ghafoor has a vast experience in Property, Business Interruption, CAR / Contractor’s liability, EAR, Power and Energy, Marine cargo, Fire and additional perils & Machinery Breakdown

2. . Ms. Aysha Ovais (Director)
Ms. Aysha Ovais is a Professional Engineer (Civil) and has done Masters of Engineering (Environment). She has a vast experience in consultation, research, dealing with government agencies, regulatory bodies, Risk Management and its implementation, Managing and conducting safety drills, developing EHS plans, Hurricane Response plan, Emergency Response Plans.

3. Mr. MIR IFTIKHAR ALI (Director & Senior Surveyor)
Mr. Mir Iftikhar Ali is working with our company since 1975. He joined this company as a junior surveyor and by passage of time gained huge experience in loss adjusting in almost all the practicing lines of business. He is regarded as one of the few, most senior surveyors known through out Pakistan. Mr. Ali has a vast experience in Property, Business Interruption, CAR / Contractor’s liability, EAR, Marine cargo, Fire and additional perils & Machinery Breakdown. Recently he has dealt with many major and complex losses related with terrorism/bomb explosion, Heavy flood losses and huge fire losses. Mr. Ali holds four Certificates issued by Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan to act as Surveyor i.e. Marine, Motor, Fire and Machinery Erection & Breakdown. He is also a member of Surveyors & Adjusters Association of Pakistan.

4. MR. MASOOD YAQOOB (Senior Surveyor)

5. MR. IMRAN YAQOOB  (Senior Surveyor)

6. MR. FAISAL SHAFIQ

Experience:
Employed with us since 1999. Well trained in Fire & additional perils, small & medium breakdown losses related to textile & Cotton, packaging, & chemical industries. Specializes in surveys involving Textile Industries.

7. MR. MOHAMMAD ESSA
Employed with us since 1975. Well trained in Fire & additional perils, small & medium breakdown losses, losses related to IT equipment and computers/networking & electronics. Rich industrial experience in textile & Cotton, pharmaceutical, garments etc. Vast experience in Marine losses including loading/unloading supervisions & Marine In-Land transit and miscellaneous losses. Also handles work related to valuation of assets like land, building and machinery.

8. MR. AZMATULLAH NOOR

Education:
Bachelor’s of Commerce

Experience:
Employed with us since 1992. Well trained in Motor, Fire & Marine losses. Vast experience in Motor and third party liability. Specializes in death and hospitalization claim investigation  and handled many investigation claims assigned by some foreign agencies.

9. MR. SYED  TARIQ HAIDER

Education:
Bachelor’s of Commerce

Experience:
Employed with us since 1999. Has worked with clearing/forwarding companies and rich experience in imports/exports and at sea ports. Well trained in Motor, Fire ,Marine and small/medium breakdown losses. Also handles work related to valuation of assets like land, building and machinery.

10. MR. SHEIKH BIN WAQAS
Joined us in 2005. Well trained in motor and third party claims  and now started taking part in Fire & Miscellaneous claims as a junior surveyor.

11. MR. NAVEED HASAN
Joined us in 1985. Well trained in Marine, loading/unloading supervisions & In-Land Marine losses. Also handles work related to valuation of assets like land, building and machinery.

12. DR. SHOAIB Usman Ghafoor (Director)

Dr.  Shoaib Usman Ghafoor is the elder son of late Usman Abdul Ghafoor founder and former Chief Executive. Dr. Usman holds the position of Director-in-Absentia.   Dr. Usman hold a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering with significant experience in loss adjustment and valuation of process and engineering industry.  Prior to joining Missouri University of Science and Engineering as a faculty member in their nuclear engineering department, Dr. Usman served Ghafoor Associate (Pvt. ) Limited as a as a senior adjuster and was licensed by SECP in all area for insurance survey.  In addition to his doctoral degree , Dr. Usman also holds two masters (in nuclear engineering and health physics) and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.  Dr. Usman is available to GAPL for all specialized cases require high expertise and knowledge.

13. MR. SHOAIB KHAN
Mr. Shoaib Khan is one of our company’s ex-director who has served Ghafoor Associates  for more than 37 years. Mr. Khan was considered to be an expert in  Insurance loss adjusting at his times. Mr. Khan was a qualified loss adjuster with all  four insurance survey licenses issued by SECP. In 2005, he was retired as director of our company but however presently Mr. Shoaib Khan is associated with us in the capacity of an adviser.  

14. COL.(R) HASAN A. GHAFOOR
Col.(R) Hasan A. Ghafoor is associated with us for more than 17 years and handled many surveys on our behalf specially in those areas in Pakistan and even in Afghanistan where the law and order situation is not as good. Col.(R) Hasan has also worked with our company as a qualified senior loss adjuster in past.
